Today, Apple held its WWDC keynote as a live stream, where it announced a suite of new features for the Apple Watch, and it’s watchOS. Meanwhile, Transfer the OS still lags behind the other smartwatch operating systems. A new support page on the Android developer site describes how to Wear the OS will support a smoother, more watchfaces. It’s going to make watchfaces with the animation, such as a smooth, second-hand, as opposed to one every second.
The Wearable support Library to version 2.7.0, allow developers to make use of the hardware acceleration for the watch faces, whereas in the past, hardware acceleration is only allowed for the Wear and tear of the OS and apps. This new support means that developers have to tweak their watchfaces for you to take advantage of the smoother animations and the marginally improved battery life.
We really hope it the OS would have to get along. There are a lot of great Wear OS watch, with a lot of different styles, from different manufacturers, but the os is so far behind. We are looking for the next big update for the OS, if it hasn’t been updated since the end of 2018.
