‘The Evil Dead Documentary Hail to the Deadites’ Will be just about the Premiere at Fantasia Next Month


It has been in the works for a number of years, and today, we’ve learned that it’s a documentary Hail to the Deadites it is finally ready for its world premiere at the Fantasia next month.

Hail to the Deadites it is a documentary about the fans of the The Walking Dead “franchise,” the press release explains. “Through interviews with members of the cast, the crew, the collectors, the fans, the freaks and the geeks out there, try to illuminate the darkest corners of the franchise is perpetual, and ever-growing popularity, a popularity that it has spawned four movies, a TV series, comic books, figurines, and even exceeded, the creator’s wildest dreams. In addition to meeting with fans all over the world, the 80-minute documentary, with interviews with the Evil Death franchise’s cast members, such as Bruce Campbell, Ted Raimi, Betsy Baker, Theresa Tilly, Ellen Sandweiss, Richard DeManincor, Tom Sullivan ,Dan Hicks ,Kassie Wesley DePaiva, Sarah Berry, And Rick Domeier and Bill Moseley.”

Director Steve Villeneuve notes, “Some people might find it weird there are no pictures of the deductible in the u.s.), but this is what I’ve been aiming for since day one. I am very proud to say that everything you see or hear in this documentary is made by fans around the world.”

The Fantasia International Film Festival is going virtual this year, and the team says “the film will be available on the View platform, from August 20 to September 2,. All film screenings will be geo-blocked from Canadian public and will only be accessible from within the countryhuge increase in the number of viewers, and we can get on with the business outside of Quebec.”
