CALABASAS (CBSLA) The Calabasas mayor, is speaking out about an event, to be hosted by YouTube star, Jake, Paul, of the city’s forces tighten the corona virus of limitations, including a $100 for failing to wear the face coverings.
People who were at the Calabasas party was not physically present in distance, and the wearing of masks, Los Angeles County officials continue to warn residents against it.
“The warning period is over and that no one is allowed to be major players in the city of Calabasas,” the Mayor Alicia Weintraub said.
Weintraub said the city is considering taking action against Paul for the event. In the mean time, that the Calabasas city council unanimously adopted a zero-tolerance policy for major events. The people who don’t follow the guidelines, you can get a visit from the police and facing a fine.
Calabasas city leaders are asking people who do not have a house party, or other large gatherings, to call the City’s Code Enforcement Hotline, and in the presence of water.
“We are working with the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, in order to make sure that when they call that they’re engaged, and break up the meetings,” the mayor said. “Our numbers continue to grow, and we really wanted to do something in order to respond to this crisis.”
Also, effective on Monday, a person with no face to be covered in Calabasas, when it is within a company, or in which they will not be able to stay six feet away from the others as it can also be a fine of up to $100, the city of officials said.
Mayor, Weintraub said, as the feline corona virus numbers are improving, the board will evaluate their own policies and penalties.
