Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba apologised to his team-mates in the dressing room after his costly mistake in the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw against West Ham United.

The draw means United have to avoid defeat away at Leicester on the final day if they are to secure a top-four finish.

In the match against West Ham United fc in the fourth match in nine days, and they have won just one of those games.

Maguire admits it’s a trial period, but says that the fixture list is to be used as an excuse.

“The plan is ridiculous,” said Maguire.

“I don’t think that’s the [games] in nine days, or something. It’s not an excuse, we are all ready for it.”
