Ken Osmond, best known for his role as Eddie Haskell on the classic hit tv comedy series “Leave It to Beaver” has died at the age of 76, according to NBC News.
Ken Osmond, the cause of death is currently unknown, and it was confirmed on Monday through his manager. Although it is best known as the sneaky Eddie Haskell and Wally Cleaver’s best friend, Osmond also guest-starred on many classic TV hits, including “Wagon Train,” “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet” and “Lassie” to name a few.

Osmond began his career as a young child, landing his first speaking film role at the age of 9 in “So Big” with Jane Wyman and Sterling Hayden.
It was in 1957 that Osmond had auditioned for what he believed at first in a guest role as Eddie Haskell on “Leave It to Beaver” is What’s childish charm and humor, easily impressed by the show’s creators, who decided to remain in Osmond’s nature to be full-time in the series, the six-season run.

After the end of its run, “Leave It to Beaver” Osmond made appearances on “The Munsters,” and “Petticoat Junction.” Over the years, Ken Osmond found that he was often typecast in roles similar to Eddie Haskell. After you make the decision to further his career in 1970, Osmond joined the Los Angeles Police department. Ken, tragically, was shot down, catching five balls in the 1980’s, while he was in a foot chase with a suspected car thief.
Osmond, however, will be protected against up to four of the five bullets in his bullet-proof vest, a fifth bullet ricocheted off his belt buckle. Ken was placed on disability and eventually had to retire from the police force in 1988.
With time on his hands since his departure from the force, and will always be grateful for his time on the hit tv series “Leave It to Beaver” Osmond reprised his role in the 1983 TV movie “Still the Beaver”, and later on in the series, the revival “The New Leave It to Beaver.”
The series of revival aired from 1983-1989 and is allowed, by Ken Osmond on acting, along with his two sons, Eric and Christian, who played the role of Eddie Haskell’s sons in the series, the time spent with his children, whom he was very proud to have taken.
Ken Osmond made for the set, painted a great picture of Eddie Haskell for the last time in 1997 for the film “Leave It to Beaver.” After the announcement of the Osmond on the death of his manager, who, in a statement by his son, Eric, at SHOW, who stated;
“He was an incredibly kind and a wonderful father. He had his family around him when he’s gone.
He was very much loved and very much missed.”
At the moment there is no official announcement about the anniversary. My sincere condolences go out to the Osmond family in their time of need. Ken Osmond is survived by his wife, Sandra, and his two sons, Christian and Eric.
