Disney has lost about $5 billion in the last quarter of the year alone, and things are really looking better for the near future. Walt Disney’s CEO, Bob Chapek and chief financial officer, Christine McCarthy revealed earlier this week that Walt Disney World has seen a rise in the number of cancellations, which was a lot more than they’d like to see the Florida park. The security measures that the park is being criticized by some people, while others are just happy to finally be back in the park, it is a normal situation.

Shortly after the re-opening, Hong Kong Disneyland had to shut its doors, and the Anaheim, California park is closed. It was intended to be at Disneyland back in the middle of July, but those plans were quickly discarded, as the California case, the numbers began to surge, particularly around the Orange County area, where the park is located. As of now, there is no time limit for the re-opening of the park, while the Downtown Disney area and has been going strong since its re-opening in mid-July. Disneyland is waiting for a comprehensive plan from the Governor’s Gavin Newsom, yet the uk is still not even open at the moment, so it may be a while.

Even though Walt Disney World is cutting back on hours, it should still give the visitor enough time to get everything in order to do what they want. Plus, the crowd sizes are reduced due to Disney, and less and less people are showing up, which means that social distance along with the waiting time, should be no problem. Visitors have to wear masks at all times, and they have their temperature checked before you step foot in the park. The official The Walt Disney World Resort the website was the first to note the change in the operation hours.
