Qualcomm recently unveiled the Snapdragon 865+ chipset, setting off a race among smartphone makers over who is going to get an update on their line-up from the first one. Asus, Lenovo, and Samsung already announced the new phones, but for the rest of the game-the phone makers will follow sooner rather than later.
As the brand manager for the Black in the World, recently posted a cryptic post on Weibo from a phone that is called the Black Shark, 3S, and today we get to have a date prior to the announcement – on Friday, the 31st of July. It will also include a Tencent version, it is a unit that will be given away to a random Weibo user, who reposts the message.
The new phone will, of course, the Snapdragon 865+ chipset. Other improved specs, we will be able to get the refresh rate of the display in the Black Shark, The 3 Pro has “only” a 90 hertz (Hz), while the competition is all at 144Hz.
We expect, however, that the overall design of the Black Shark, 3S to remain the same with the mirror-image triangles on the back, as well as the physical trigger button. The charge is likely to be in the range of 65, but since Xiaomi has been a board-certified 120W-charging technology, the 3S might be able to go higher.
