The free-scoring striker Alexandre Lacazette is being investigated by the club after a video surfaced online where he is seen breathing in the gas from a balloon, a u.k.-based media reported on Sunday.

The video that circulated online has revealed the French midfielder, 28, appears to be taking a hit from the balloon to the back and closed his eyes.

“This is a private matter, which we take very seriously. It is going to be handled internally,” the club said in a statement, reported by Sky Sports.

The incident comes after a number of the club’s players had been warned in December of 2018 for the inhalation of the gas bubbles, presumably air or nitrous oxide, or “laughing gas”, is when the CCTV footage of a private party at a club in August, came into being.
