Apple’s online-only, the WWDC starts on June 22nd

In March, Apple said that it will hold its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held online as well, but not the date. Now that we know that it will kick off on the 22nd of June.

WWDC will be hosted virtually by the COVID-19-pandemic, for the first time, it will be free of charge for the users. The event will be streamed live via the Apple app Developer, Apple Developer web site.

In addition to the announcement of the WWDC date, Apple announced the Swift, a Student Challenge is for students to showcase their love for coding, with the creation of an interactive scene in a Swift playground, on the topic of their choice.

If you are interested in the Swift, the Student’s Challenge and will have the time until May 17, 11:59 PM PDT to submit their application. The winner of the challenge will receive an exclusive WWDC20 the jacket and the pin-code is set. You can head this way for more details on to the challenge.
